Reno Arch 1952
I don’t get to Reno, Nevada often but I sure do remember the FOHBC Reno/Sparks Expo in 2006. Without a doubt, this was the best bottle show that I have ever attended. The glass was simple overwhelming. This seemed to be a favorite for many.
Anyway, the FOHBC 2012 Expo is again in Reno. The show flyer put together by Richard Siri and Marty Hall has a really cool architectural arch as an image. I did a little research and am posting a few of the arch designs over the past decades for your enjoyment.

I agree that the Federation National in Reno ’06 WAS a memorable event, actually the best bottle show I’ve ever attended in collecting life. It WILL be 24 years since the Federation has put on an EXPO bottle event in the west! The collecting crowd that began this great hobby is aging and many new collections may be brought out at this juncture, it is the perfect time; and the venue for putting this on is terrific, I have attended many tax seminars at this location and know it quite well. We may not have another Expo like this in the west for quite some time. It should be a huge, terrific time for all bottle collectors, don’t miss it!!!
