Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Pickled Peppers and Posted it on The Peachridge Cathedral Pickle Picture Page
It was really a great experience to see the Cathedral Pickle display at the FOHBC York Show (was it York or Wilmington?)…I believe it was displayed by Terry Gillis. This glass is incredible in it’s form and beauty. The various sizes and aqua colors really make for great groupings. Anyway, I thought I would create a page of great pictures. Please send me some killer group shots so I can post.

WOW! THAT LIGHT GREEN CATHEDRAL WITH THE EXPANDED MOUTH IN THE MITCHELL COLLECTION IS OUTRAGEOUS, AS WELL AS VERY RARE. THE BLUE ( RARE COLOR ) WILLINGTON IN THE GRAY COLLECTION IS ALSO SUPER AND RARE. I WOULD LIKE TO ADD A COUPLE OF PICKLE PHOTOS TO YOUR SITE, HOW DO I GO ABOUT THAT? GLOPTOP
Just send me your pics and I will edit, crop and upload. Thanks. fmeyer@fmgdesign.com or ferdinand @peachridgeglass.com
I never made it to the Wilmington Federation National show, however at the York Federation Exposition show, there was a display of cathedral pickle bottles by Terry Gillis (whom I’ve never met), it was quite impressive and I remember hearing many conversations talking about that display among dealers and collectors attending this show. I believe that the display was entirely of Wilmington Glass Works products.
York is quite right Warren and Terry is the man. From what I understand, he may have the top or one of the top Cathedral Pickle collections. Quite a display!
I wouldn’t doubt it after listening to advanced collectors speak of his display. I meant to say the Willington Glass Works in my above posting…sorry.
Looks like Dennis ended up with the Keyhole(far left) that I dug in SF. Looks familiar.
I’ll get around to posting a few of mine one of these days.
